The Ministry of Energy and Mines is an institution of the Peruvian Government in charge of the sustainable development of mining-energy activities, contributing to human development, as well as reducing environmental impact.

It promotes the integral development of the inherent activities of the sector, regulating and / or supervising their compliance, safeguarding the rational use of natural resources in harmony with the environment, thus increasing the competitiveness of the sector and guaranteeing legal stability.
