The Expo Callao 2019, the largest and most important gastronomic, multicultural and industrial fair of the region, is held at the Real Felipe Fortress at the beginning of November.

The fair aims at promoting the region to locals and foreigners showcasing the best the port city has to offer. On over 20,000 sqm (215,000 sq. ft) inside the Real Felipe Fortress more than 200 exhibitors put up their stands to present the best of Callao’s gastronomy, arts and crafts, tourism options, business opportunities and much more.

Each day of the Expo Callao 2019 will be packed with numerous activities including an attempt to win the Guinness World Record for preparing the largest ceviche (November 9), performances of the Grand Circus “Piratas en el Callao” (Pirates in Callao), celebrations for the Día de la Canción Criolla (October 31), salsa contests, live music and dancing, a fashion show (November 8), theater performances, entertainment for kids, exhibitions, talent competitions, crowning of the Miss Callao (November 8), food and arts and crafts talks and demonstrations and much, much more.
