Vivo X El Rock, Peru’s largest music festival catering for all fans of alternative rock, blues rock, fusion rock, punk rock, indie rock, nu metal, rap and pop rock, is back in Lima this November.

After organizers changed the date and venue (the event was originally planned for May 25, 2019 at the Circuito Magico del Agua) and promised the participation of one of the most important rock bands that fills stadiums, we finally know more about the 11th edition of the Vivo X El Rock 2019.

For the first time ever The Strokes, surely one of the most influential rock bands of all times that changed the landscape of indie / alternative rock forever, will come to Peru and be the main attraction of this year’s music festival.

While usually the top local and international artists and music groups invited to the Vivo X El Rock concert only perform one hour each, The Strokes will give a full concert – the only one in South America - on one of the three (or perhaps even four) stages prepared on the areal of the San Marcos University in Lima.

The publication of the full line-up is expected by August.

Venue / Location:
San Marcos University (estadio, explanada and campo alterno)
Address:
Av. Universitario with Av. Venezuela, Lima
Tickets:
are available at Teleticket in Wong and Metro supermarkets or at Teleticket online
