In 2006 we created LimaEasy just a few months after arriving in the Peruvian capital in a time when there wasn’t much detailed and especially up-to-date info in English about the city around. Within the following 8 years we made LimaEasy with lots of love and passion a household name and tremendous success with tourists, foreigners living in Peru, fellow entrepreneurs and everyone interested in Lima and Peru.
As we had to move abroad for job-related reasons, we decided with a heavy heart to sell our “baby” in 2014 trusting that the new owners would be as enthusiastic about and dedicated to LimaEasy as we were and would not only continue our beloved project in our sense, but as well develop it further. Unfortunately, this didn’t happen.
From afar we had to watch LimaEasy not changing, not being technically modernized, not being updated. Instead of growing and appearing in new splendor what we hoped for and were promised when we sold the website, LimaEasy seemed forgotten with no one caring and as the years went by on a downhill track.
But sometimes life goes strange ways and brought LimaEasy back home to us. So here we are, the original founders and now new owners of LimaEasy.com.
Over the last few days – yes, we are talking only about days – we worked nonstop to at least get LimaEasy technically running, implement a new, modern design (don’t worry, some characteristic features will return soon) and put it online again. However, lots is still missing, some features don’t work or aren’t perfect, many pictures might not be there and the content is not updated yet.
Please, for now bear with us, we still have a long way ahead, but as nearly 15 years ago when we started the project, we are dedicated to improve LimaEasy and share our love and passion for Peru and Lima the way we used to.
