1995 - 200 Nuevos Soles banknote. The Peruvian currency Nuevos Soles has been in circulation since 1991. This is still a current banknote, but being removed from circulation as of 2016, the new monetary system of Peruvian money is named "Soles".

The 200 Nuevos Soles bill is decorated on the front with the effigy of the Saint Rose of Lima, patron saint of Latin America, India and the Philippines, born in 1586. St. Rose was beatified by Pope Clement IX in 1667, and canonized in 1671 by Pope Clement X as the first Catholic in the Americas to be canonized by the Roman Church.
